Region 24 recently announced the All-Region award winners for the COVID-calendar Spring sport seasons. Men's Soccer began their abbreviated seasons in the second week of April and continued into mid-May's postseason tournament.

Congratulations to the coaches, student-athletes, and administrators for not only managing, but finding success, in such a different calendar.

The John Wood Trail Blazers recognized:

Men's Soccer

Trail Blazer men's soccer earned the 3 seed in the four-team Region 24 tournament, finishing the abbreviated regular season 2-3-1. With a win in the semi-final match vs the 12th ranked team in the country, Parkland College, JWCC advanced to the Region 24 championship match where they fell to #3 Heartland College. JWCC soccer finishes with a 3-4-1 overall record.

Uviwe Qasha (Noordwyk, South Africa) was recognized as a  All-Region selection and the 3rd highest vote-getter in the coaches' vote.

Winter Casseus (Belle Glade, FL) was also voted as a member of the 12 person All-Region team. It is Winter's second consecutive year being recognized with All Region honors.
