Kaleb Bradshaw

Rosters Number: 23
Position: 1B, 3B, P
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: Griggsville, IL

Kaleb finished with a very solid freshman campaign, batting .284 with 1 home run and 32 RBI. His 14 doubles tied him for 3rd on the club.  He primarily played 1B but also saw time at 3B and on the mound, making 5 relief appearances.  After a slow start to the 2016 season, things began to jell for Kaleb as he saw improvement in all phases of his game.  Defensively, he worked hard to become one of the better 1B gloves in the conference and will have a good shot at a Gold Glove as a sophomore.  Offensively, he began to takeoff about 1/3 of the way into the season.  After a difficult 5 for 41 start to his college career (.122 batting average), he finished the season by going 39 for 114 the rest of the way, a .342 average.

Kaleb will also be contribute on the bump in 2017.  After hurling only a few innings as a freshman, he had some success last fall, finishing with a 0.90 ERA and a save.  He will most likely be counted on as one of the club’s closers out of the bullpen.
