Dr Bill Simpson


Dr Bill Simpson served as the President of John Wood Community College for 11 years and oversaw a variety of advancements to the campus and the athletic programs.  During his Presidency, the Student Activity Center and the baseball and softball complexes were constructed and opened.  Dr. Simpson played an integral role in the expansion of athletic waivers and administrative support for each of the intercollegiate sport programs.  In addition, he served on the NJCAA Executive Committee as a president representative for 6 years and was honored with the NJCAA Service Award. Following his time as a Trail Blazer, Dr. Simpson has moved to the state of Washington and enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
