Quincy, IL - As we gear up for returning to play in the Fall 2020, we are highlighting our athletic staff during a mid-Summer Staff Profile series.

Today, June 24th, we get to introduce you to our assistant softball coach, AJ Smith. He will be entering his 3rd year with our softball program.

  • Favorite Memory from John Wood:  Going to the basketball National Tournament in Danville, IL in 2015 when the Blazers got 2nd in the Nation
  • Who inspires you:  my wife because she encourages me to be a better husband and my son because he strives for me to be a better father

  • If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?  My Grandpa Smith.  I never met him because he died before I was born.
