Quincy, IL - As we gear up for returning to play in the Fall 2020, we are highlighting our athletic staff during a mid-Summer Staff Profile series.

Today, June 20th, we get to introduce you to our head men's basketball coach, Brad Hoyt. He will be entering his 11th year at the helm of our men's basketball program.

Favorite Sports Team: 
   *Iowa Hawkeyes/Miami Dolphins/John Wood Trail Blazers

Favorite JWCC Memory: 
   * Athletically - coaching in the 2015 NJCAA National Championship game. It was an honor to represent the community in the final game of the season with some big time good dudes.
   *Meeting and staying in touch with my teammates from 1993-95. Lifelong friends.

Favorite Overall sports Memory: 
   * High School: QND v QHS soccer games. Those environments have always stuck           wth me.
   *Being on the floor when JWCC won it's first Region championship in 1995.
   *Watching my freshman son compete at the varsity level in two sports last year

Who Inspires you: 
   *My kids

Current Netflix Binge: 
   *Nothing current - but Tiger King was ridiculous and Prison Break taught me not to binge on a series (was looking for escape routes everywhere I went...)
